Anti-cheat that never trusts the client.
Every paid anti-cheat in both scenes leans on a client-side secret. The day a cheat author reads the detection code, the product decays. Nightward is built the other way around. The real detection runs on your server, and one license covers both your FiveM and your Minecraft servers from a single dashboard.
No monthly. No per-server tax. Buy once, from €39.
Self-hosted. Detect-only first. No "99.9%" claims we cannot prove.

How it works
Three parts that share one brain
The agents do the detection on each game. Ward Core scores it, runs the ladder, and shows you everything. You learn one dashboard and protect two games.
Nightward for FiveM
A Lua resource. Server-authoritative event firewall, weapon and explosion and entity guards, movement and health validation, resource integrity. Throttled client collectors corroborate, they never stand alone.
Nightward for Minecraft
A Paper plugin. Movement, reach, killaura, aim, autoclicker and timer checks run per player with latency awareness, off the main thread for all IO. Built for low false positives over maximum catch.
Ward Core
The shared backend. It ingests signed telemetry from both agents, scores violations with decay, runs the escalation ladder, and serves your operator dashboard. Zero dependencies, installs in seconds.
The ladder
A violation never maps straight to a ban
Every check feeds a score that decays over time, so one borderline flag fades while real cheating accumulates. You ship in detect-only, watch, tune, then enforce, per check.
- Observe - logged, builds an evidence trail, nothing visible.
- Watch - surfaced on the dashboard, optional staff alert.
- Restrict - soft mitigation: a setback or a reverted gain. The cheat stops working with no accusation.
- Kick - removed with a generic reason. Recoverable.
- Ban - persisted, fingerprinted, syncable across the network. High confidence only.
Why it wins
Built to survive the leak that kills other anti-cheats
Server-authoritative
Removing the client module never blinds Nightward, it just removes one input. The detection that bans lives where the cheater cannot reach it.
One license, both games
FiveM and Minecraft under one key and one dashboard. Nobody else offers it, and a multi-server network is exactly the buyer who needs it.
Low false positives
Statistical autoclicker detection, latency-compensated reach, conservative movement. A check that false-bans real players gets uninstalled no matter how many cheaters it catches.
Every flag is auditable
No black-box verdict. Each flag carries the vector, the inputs, the score and the threshold it crossed, so your staff can see exactly why.
Closed, and updated
You are buying a service, not a static binary whose leak ends it: hard-to-replicate logic, the dashboard, and a steady cadence of signature updates.
Performance budgeted
Sampled collectors, async checks, a dependency-free backend. Nightward protects a busy network on one small VM.
Against the field
The honest comparison
| Nightward | Typical paid AC | |
|---|---|---|
| Load-bearing detection | Server-authoritative | Client-side, decays |
| FiveM and Minecraft | One license, both | One game |
| On a violation | Score, decay, escalate | Instakick |
| Evidence per flag | Vector, inputs, score | Opaque verdict |
| Survives a source leak | Yes, nothing load-bearing leaks | Reputation ends |
A well-known FiveM anti-cheat had its "fully decrypted" source posted on leak forums. Its encryption was the moat, and it broke. Nightward is designed as if the client code is already public.
